Blue Shutters Town Beach
Very popular family-oriented town beach. It's a pretty spot with spectacular views of Block Island Sound. Lifeguards, outdoor showers, restrooms, changing rooms, concession stand and picnic tables for residents and visitors. Admission: $10 on weekdays, $12 on weekends.
Burlingame State campgroud
The 3,100 acres of rocky woodland belonging to this area surround Watchaug Pond. Rather extensive picnic facilities, 73 fireplaces, toilets, drinking water, swimming beach, bathhouse, boating, and fishing make this one of the most popular state recreation areas. Lifeguards from 9am - 5pm. Picnic tables for rent for a $2. fee. Admission: $6 on weekdays, $7 on weekends.
Narragansett
Narragansett Town Beach
This mile long beach is regarded as having the best surfing in New England due to its smoothly curling waves. There are two modern pavilions with snack bars, changing rooms and rest rooms. Shopping boutiques are in the nearby Pier Marketplace and several restaurants with outdoor decks overlooking the beach and ocean are just a short walk away.
Daily parking fee is $6. Daily admission to the beach (ages 12 and up) is $5.
Scarborough State Beach
This is a really great beach for all ages with two beautiful pavilions, boardwalk, observation
tower and sitting areas along the boardwalk. Picnic tables, concessions, restrooms, and coin
operated hot showers. This is the most popular beach in Rhode Island. Lifeguards on duty 9am -6pm. Parking for non-residents is $12. per car on weekdays and $14. on weekends and holidays.
South Kingstown
East Matunuck State Beach
Noted for its strong surf, this beach sports a futuristic pavilion and a huge parking lot. Boats entering and leaving the Point Judith Harbor of Refuge are clearly visible.Parking fee for non-residents is $12. per car on weekdays, $14. on weekends and holidays. Carry in, carry out policy.
Worden's Pond
RI's largest freshwater lake. 1,043 acres of clean, freshwater to swim, boat, fish and enjoy. Other on site recreation includes sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, basketball court, playgrounds, and hayrides. Boat ramp. $30 Daily rate for campground rental.

Misquamicut State Beach
The beach itself is one of the largest in the state. It generally has modest surf and good sand with a gradual drop-off. The eastern end of the beach becomes Atlantic Beach,. Misquamicut has a beautiful recently constructed beach pavilion. Parking fee for non-residents is $12. on weekdays and $14. on weekendsand holidays. Carry in, carry out policy.

Located at the eastern end of Misquamicut across from water slides and other amusements,
Atlantic beach retains the same old-fashioned charm that characterized beach recreational
areas of years gone by, including a carousel with antique band organ, kiddie amusement rides, bumper cars, game room, ice cream and much much more. Ample parking available.
